Overdraft Transfer Service
When your checking account does not have sufficient funds to clear an item that is presented, our Overdraft Transfer Service allows money to be pulled where funds are available to clear that item from your Princeton Federal Credit Union:
Savings Account
Money Market
Personal Line of Credit
Managing Your Options
You may add or remove this service option at any time. There is a $4 transfer fee for each occurrence. If you did not choose an option when you opened your account, we will automatically set up this service to occur from your savings account unless you elect to transfer from a money market account or personal line of credit.

Important
Federal regulations limit automatic or online transfers to six (6) per savings account per month.* However, there is no limit to the number of times your personal line of credit can be accessed by overdraft, provided there are available funds within the line of credit. If the total funds needed to clear the check are not available through an overdraft option, no money is transferred. The item is considered to have non-sufficient funds. The $5 minimum balance requirement on the savings account and any pledged shares will not be transferred.
The line of credit will accrue interest immediately if this option is used.
If you have additional questions, speak to a member services representative today by dialing (609) 945-6200 Option 4.
*NOTE: As of April 24th, 2020 this limit is suspended and members may make unlimited withdrawals and transfers.
